Abstract
A composite processing machine with an automatic swiveling composite turret device. Transmitting and releasing of rotational force to a rotating tool is automatically switched between indexing and locked securing. Included is a clutch-action-coupled rotational force transmission/release switching mechanism (). A common motor () is the drive source for a rotation drive mechanism () for transmitting rotational force to a rotating tool () and a swivel drive mechanism () for swiveling a turret (). Transmission of rotational force of common motor () to rotation drive mechanism () is released when turret () is slid along swivel shaft part () to unlock clutch device () and enable turret () to swivel, and rotational force of common motor () is transmitted to rotating tool () when turret () is slid back to lock and secure clutch device () in an indexed position of turret ().
