Abstract

The invention relates to a rotary projector for a coating product that comprises a spraying member () having at least one ridge () capable of forming a jet of product, a means for rotating the member (), a stationary body () having primary () and secondary () openings formed on primary and secondary outlines surrounding the rotation axis (X) of the member () and for respectively outputting primary and secondary air jets (J). Each primary air jet is inclined relative to the rotation axis (X) in a primary direction such that the primary air jet freely crosses the area where the ridge () is located, while each secondary air jet is inclined relative to the rotation axis (X) in a secondary direction (J) having at least one axial component (A) and one radial component (R), said components (A, R) being such that the secondary air jet (J) impinges on an outer surface () of the spraying member ().
