Abstract
In a fuel cell, a cellincluding an anode, a solid electrolyte filmand a cathodeon an outer peripheral surface of a substrate tubeis formed in a circumferential direction of the substrate tube. A plurality of the cellsare arranged along a longitudinal direction of the substrate tube, and an interconnectorconnecting the cellselectrically in series is formed between the adjacent cells. A thickness of an end portion of the cathodein the longitudinal direction, the portion being in contact with the interconnector, is larger than a thickness of a center portion of the cathodein the longitudinal direction. Thereby, high power generation performance can be achieved.
