Abstract

The invention is directed to a process to produce para-xylene and optionally, ortho-xylene, including coupling a C-aromatics-removal system with an isomerization system or with a parallel configuration of two isomerization systems to reduce xylenes recycle for energy savings and/or productivity increases.
