Abstract
A recording apparatus includes a recording head which performs recording on a medium; a first roller which reverses a medium which is transported from the recording head side; and a medium reception unit which is provided on the downstream side of the recording head on the medium transport path on which the medium is transported, in which the medium reception unit also functions as a first medium support unit which supports a medium which is inserted from a discharging direction side of the medium.
