Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method for preparing a thin polarizer, and a thin polarizer prepared using the same, the method including forming a film laminate by attaching a non-stretched polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) film having a thickness of 10 to 60 μm to at least one surface of a non-stretched base film, using attractive force therebetween; and stretching the film laminate such that the thickness of the PVA film is 10 μm or less.
