Abstract
A method for controlling movement of a window glass () in a vehicle using an electric motor () associated with a drive mechanism () through a cable (), said method comprising the steps: determining an actual position (X) of the window glass () based on the movement of the motor (), determining a cable stiffness (S), determining a position lag () of the window glass () based on the determined actual position (X) of the window glass (), a predetermined position (Z) of the window glass () and the cable stiffness (S); and continuously correcting the position of the window glass () based on the determined position lag ().
