Abstract

The invention is concerned with a trimmer comb () that comprises a base sheet () that has a toothed front side, the toothed front side comprising a side-by-side arrangement of guard teeth () and narrow teeth (), wherein the tips (') of the guard teeth () are wider in the longitudinal extension direction (y) of the trimmer comb than the tips (′) of the narrow teeth () and the geometry of the narrow teeth () is reduced when compared to the geometry of the guard teeth (). These two different trimmer comb teeth geometries serve to press down skin and to avoid injuries by hooking of trimmer comb teeth into skin pores or channels, while a high cutting efficiency is ensured because of the reduced geometry of the narrow teeth ultimately allowing a reduced average spacing distance between the trimmer teeth for a given width of the guard teeth tips. The invention is also concerned with a hair trimmer comprising such a trimmer comb and a hair removal device comprising such a hair trimmer.
