In one example, the shaped article () comprising a carrier () and a flexible decorative part () of planar design with an edge () and an edge region (), wherein the carrier () features a groove () for the edge region (), the decorative part () comprises a visible layer () and a cushion layer (), the decorative part () is arranged on the carrier () in such a way that the cushion layer () faces the carrier () and the edge region () engages into the groove (), and wherein the decorative part () features one or more recesses () that are arranged in the edge region () and partially or completely extend across the depth of the visible layer ().
