Abstract
Disclosed are a method and a device for producing a strip () obtained by longitudinally welding together at least two individual strips (), characterized in that sections of the individual strips are deflected in a vertical direction (III) before being welded together, and the deflected sections of the strips () are guided past a welding head of a welding apparatus () in the vertical direction (III) and are welded together by the welding head.
