Abstract

The present invention relates to a hair treatment appliance () having a handle (), a functional head () which can be connected to the handle () and has a hair treatment device (), and also an ion application device () for applying ions to the hair, said ion application device having at least one ion outlet (), wherein the functional head () and the handle () also in each case have an electrically conductive area on an outer face of the component and the electrically conductive area of the functional head () and the electrically conductive area of the handle () are electrically conductively connected to one another.
