Abstract
A wire connector is described that suppresses the cutting of wires accidentally. The wire connectorincludes a wire holderthat holds at least two wires, a contactA that electrically connects the two wires and a bodythat holds the wire holder. The wire holderincludes first and second end facesand, and a wire holding portionthat includes first and second holding portionsand. On the first end face, at portions of circumferential edge portions of the openingsandof the second holding portionsand, protecting portionsthat project from the first end faceand protect the wires are provided.
