Abstract
Control device () for controlling the position of an instrumented cable towed in water, such as a marine seismic streamer, and/or an instrumented towed cable array (streamer array), which control device () is provided with buoyancy means () for retrieving the control device () and instrumented cable to the surface, at least sections of the instrumented cable, which means () are arranged for providing the control device () with buoyancy.
