Abstract

A lithium secondary battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator inserted between the positive electrode and the negative electrode and a non-aqueous electrolyte is provided. The positive electrode comprises a first positive electrode active material represented by following Chemical Formula 1. And the non-aqueous electrolyte comprises a first lithium salt, a second lithium salt represented by following Chemical Formula 2 and a non-aqueous organic solvent.LiMO  [Chemical Formula 1]LiRCOO  [Chemical Formula 2] (In Chemical Formulae 1 and 2, M=NiMnCo, in which 0<a<2, 0<b<2, 0<c<2, a+b+c=1 or 2, 0.5≦x≦1.3, 1<x+y≦3.3, 2≦z≦4, and R is independently a C-Calkyl group, a C-Caryl group, a C-Calkenyl group, a halogen substituted C-Calkyl group, a halogen substituted C-Caryl group or a halogen substituted C-Calkenyl group).
