Abstract

An inkjet recording apparatus of a line head type where a resolution can be changed simply, and locating of nozzles can be performed simply and accurately is provided. The present invention is an inkjet recording apparatusperforming recording to a recording mediumusing line heads H, wherein the inkjet recording apparatusis provided with a rectangular first base plate, a rectangular second base plate, and a plurality of the line heads H arranged on the first base plate and the second base plate, wherein a side end of one side of the first base platehas a step-like upper projection portion, a side end of the other side of the second base platehas a step-like lower projection portion, the upper projection portionand the lower projection portionoverlap each other so as to come in surface contact with each other in a vertical direction, and the first base plateand the second base plateare provided side by side in a state where a distal end of the lower projection portionhas been caused to abut on the first base plate, wherein a resolution is changed by finely moving the second base plateto the first base platein a longitudinal direction.
