Abstract

The present invention encompasses methods for treating an infection and/or treating or reducing inflammation through the administration of a therapeutically effective amount of a peptide to a subject in need thereof. In some aspects, the peptide is a-derived peptide, such as an HPA3NT3 peptide and the infection is a bacterial infection.
