A device control system has a terminalwith a web browser, and a printerthat controls a connected device. The terminalcalls an object that controls a device and is instantiated by the device APIto support the device, and sends a request to the printer, by the web application; and the printerexecutes a device control scriptthat controls the device, receives requests sent through the device API, and controls the device.
