Abstract

[Object] To prevent a fastening member such as a bolt from being exposed from a bottom plate when a heater is fixed to the bottom plate using a heater fixture. [Solution] An outdoor unitof an air-conditioning apparatus includes a bottom plate, a heat exchangermounted on the bottom plate, and a fansending air to the heat exchanger. The outdoor unitincludes a heaterprovided on the bottom platea fan retaining portion, mounted on the bottom plate, for retaining the fanand a heater fixture, mounted on the fan retaining portion, for fixing the heaterby pressing the heateragainst the bottom platefrom above.
