Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a method of assessing a subject's susceptibility to a vascular disease. The method may comprise providing a concentrated population of extracellular vesicles contained in a biological material obtained from a subject, processing the concentrated population to determine if the concentrated population contains a 16S rRNA sequence of, and upon determining that the concentrated population contains a 16S rRNA sequence of, further determining that the subject is potentially susceptible to a vascular disease.
