Abstract
A hub-bearing assembly () is provided with an outer, stationary, ring (), and an inner ring () with a flange () for mounting a wheel, and the flange () forms an annular relief () projecting in an axially inward direction and having an outer toroidal surface (); a sealing device (), mounted on the outer ring (), has a non-contacting axial lip () which extends axially towards the flange () and has a free end portion () which creates a labyrinth seal with the outer toroidal surface () of the annular relief ().
