Abstract
The invention relates to a cooking oven (), having a cavity () which is closable by a door (). To reduce bacteria growth the invention is characterized in that oxygenating gas or ozone generating means () are provided for supplying at least a part of the cavity () or a region () adjacent to the cavity () with oxygenating gas or ozone.
