Abstract

The invention relates to a pigment preparation with metal effect pigments, wherein the pigment preparation contains metal effect pigments the average size dof which lies in a range of from 1.7 to 2.8 μm and the average thickness hof which lies in a range of from 15 to 50 nm, as well as at least one polycarboxylic acid. In addition, the invention relates to a method for producing this pigment preparation as well as the use of same.
