Abstract

Disclosed herein are various embodiments of devices, systems and methods for the delivery of carbon dioxide (CO) as a contrast agent for angiography. The COdelivery device can include a syringe and a shuttle valve assembly in fluid communication with the syringe, such that the shuttle valve can be disposed in a first position to pressurize the syringe with CO, and a second position to deliver a bolus of COto a subject.
