Abstract
Visor comprising a network structure formed of expanded metal, which network structure has a general extension plane () and is formed of wire portions () and connecting portions (), the respective ends of four wire portions () being joined in each connecting portion (), and which wire portions () have substantially rectangular cross sections having long sides (A,A) and short sides (B,B). The wire portions () are arranged such that the long sides (A,A) of their cross sections have a lesser angle to the general extension plane () of the network structure than do the short sides (B,B). The invention also relates to a method for use in the production of such a visor.
