Abstract
A mobile terminal and controlling method therein are disclosed, by which a memo can be written and utilized conveniently in a state that an access to the mobile terminal is restricted in part. The present invention includes entering a lock screen for restricting at least one partial function of the mobile terminal, writing a memo on the lock screen in response to an input of a 1command, and if user authentication is performed in response to an input of a 2command, coping with an event occurring until cancellation of the display of the lock screen using the memo.
