Abstract
The present invention relates to a cooking hob with illumination equipment. The cooking hob includes at least one transparent or semitransparent panel () arranged at the top side of said cooking hob. Further, the cooking hob includes at least one frame () enclosing at least partially the panel (). A plurality of lighting elements () is arranged within the frame () and beside a narrow side of the panel (). The frame () comprises at least one opening () on at least one inner side of said frame (), so that the cooking hob and/or the environment above said cooking hob are illuminated out of the frame ().
