Abstract
An information management unitof an information management apparatusrepresents a device as an object by a service provided and data stored in the apparatus. The information management unitfurther sends and receives an object by a communication unitand manages a surrounding apparatus as a similarly modeled object. A device policy creating unitdefines from objects what kind of device state is desirable when the surrounding environment is constituted by a plurality of devices in particular states as a device policy, and changes a setting of the information management apparatusaccording to the device policy.
