Abstract
A device for projecting an elongate optical image () onto a surface () is disclosed. The device has an optical element () with a reflective surface () configured to reflect a beam of light emitted by a light source () so that the beam of light () converges in a first plane (X-Y) and diverges in a second plane (Y-Z), the first plane being at right angles to the second plane.
