Abstract

Ferritic stainless steel sheet which has a high oxidation resistance and scale spallation resistance even at a high temperature near 1000° C., characterized by containing C: 0.020% or less, N: 0.020% or less, Si: over 0.10 to 0.35%, Mn: 0.10 to 0.60%, Cr: 16.5 to 20.0%, Nb: 0.30 to 0.80%, Mo: over 2.50 to 3.50%, and Cu: 1.00 to 2.50%, having an amount of increase of oxidation after a continuous oxidation test in the air at 1000° C. for 200 hours of 4.0 mg/cmor less, and having an amount of scale spallation of 1.0 mg/cmor less.
