Abstract
A method for manufacturing a fatty acid derivative represented by formula (I) is provided: wherein Zis wherein R3 is a protecting group for a hydroxy group;which includes the step of reacting a compound of formula (II): wherein Zis the same as Zexcept for when Zis Zis with a co-oxidizer under the presence of an azaadamantane-N-oxyl derivative.
