Abstract
A powered circular saw tool () includes a tool body (), an attachment for allowing a circular saw blade () to be attached to the tool body () in use, and a base plate () for supporting the tool body () on a workpieee or surface in use, The tool body () is capable of undergoing pivotal movement relative to the base plate () to allow a circular saw blade () to be pivoted to a required depth of cut with respect to a workpiece in use. A selector allows selection of the different operational modes.
