Abstract
The present invention is directed to a pneumatic tire comprising at least one component, the at least one component comprising a vulcanizable rubber composition, the vulcanizable rubber composition comprising: at least one diene based elastomer; precipitated silica; and a compound of formula I where R, Rand Rare independently selected alkyl or alkoxy groups containing from 1 through 8 carbon atoms provided that at least one of said groups is an ethoxy group, and alternatively provided that all three of said groups are ethoxy groups, Ris an alkanediyl group containing from 0 through 8 carbon atoms, Si is silicon, N is nitrogen and O is oxygen.
