Abstract

The invention provides active and passive immunization methods for preventing and treatinginfection, which involve percutaneous administration oftoxin-neutralizing polyclonal immune globulin,toxoids, or combinations thereof. Also provided by the invention aretoxoids,toxin-neutralizing polyclonal immune globulin, and methods of identifying subjects that producetoxin-neutralizing polyclonal immune globulin.
