Abstract

A surfboard bag hammock that is configured as a carrier receptacle and a hammock by having two different sized layers of material fastened together. The larger layer of material serves as the hammock and the smaller layer of material having a fastener lined opening serves as the carrier receptacle for an article, such as a surfboard. When the carrier receptacle is turned inside out the hammock is inserted and used as packing material before the article is placed within the carrier receptacle.
