A multifunction peripheral (MFP) for displaying a screen including a list of a part of folders included in a plurality of folders determines to, based on a file stored in a same folder as a folder storing the plurality of folders, display index keys for enabling display of folders corresponding to a specified character out of the plurality of folders (S), and displays a screen including the index keys on a display unit.
