An information processing apparatus includes an extraction unit configured to extract a character from an input character string and a generation unit configured to generate a printTicket with the character extracted by the extraction unit as an Option of a plurality of Features, wherein print data is generated from the printTicket generated by the generation unit and a rendering command from an application.
