Abstract
A display device comprises: a first substrate (), a first polarizer (), a second polarizer (), a first electrode (), a second electrode (), an electrically controlled birefringence crystal layer (). The first polarizer () is attached to the first substrate (). The second polarizer () is disposed to face the first substrate () and parallel to the first substrate (). The first electrode () and the second electrode () are disposed between the first substrate () and the second polarizer () and separate from each other. The electrically controlled birefringence crystal layer () is disposed between the first electrode () and the second electrode () and has a primary electro-optic effect. The corresponding manufacturing method for a display is also provided.
