Abstract
Image pickup lens unit () comprises, in order to minimize the positional displacement between an optical system and a holder therefor, compound lens (), holder () which houses compound lens () therein, and cover () which covers compound lens (). In holder (), there is formed peripheral section () which restricts the movement of compound lens () in the XY-direction.
