Abstract
The invention relates to a device () which uses ultrasound to measure the filling level for liquids in a tank (). The device () consists of a housing () in which a piezoelectric disc () connected to a circuit board () and an energy store () is provided. A display unit () is arranged in the housing (), and on the side of the piezoelectric disc () that faces the tank (), the disc is given a layer () consisting of elastic material.
