Abstract
The invention relates to a toothing, in particular between a starting pinion () and a ring gear () of an internal combustion engine. The toothing is designed as straight or oblique toothing and comprises a number of individual teeth () that mesh with one another. The thicknesses of the individual teeth () are asymmetrical, in particular in reduced or widened form on one or both sides.
