Abstract
An exhaust-gas turbocharger (), having a shaft () on which a compressor wheel () and a turbine wheel () are arranged, and a bearing housing () which has a turbine-side radial bearing bush () and which has an oil collecting chamber () arranged between the turbine-side radial bearing bush () and a turbine-side bearing housing end region (). The shaft () has a shoulder () which extends outward in the radial direction (R) into the oil collecting chamber () and, together with a radial-bearing-side first delimiting wall () of the oil collecting chamber (), delimits a gap ().
