Abstract
Provided is a rotary electric machine capable of improving cooling performance for a stator coil and a stator core. In the rotary electric machine, an outer-side outer diameter portion () of an exhaust hole () is formed on an inner diameter side of a position which is opposed to an axial-direction side end surface () of a fan blade () of a centrifugal fan () in an axial direction. Therefore, the axial-direction side end surface () of the fan blade () and the exhaust hole () have a positional relationship so as not to overlap each other in the axial direction. In this manner, cooling air exhausted through the exhaust hole () is unlikely to be forced to return to the exhaust hole (). Therefore, exhaust efficiency is improved to efficiently cool a stator coil () and a stator core ().
