Abstract
Provided are scissors with excellent safety that can more reliably prevent finger pinch when being closed. In the present invention, finger pinch prevention guardsfor preventing fingertips from entering the opposing inner surfacesside from above or below are formed on left and right operation portions. This can prevent user's fingertips from reaching the opposing inner surfaces () by setting the user's fingertips inserted into finger placing holes () along upper and lower surfaces of the finger pinch prevention guards. Consequently, when the operation portionsare in the closed position, the fingertips are prevented from being pinched between the opposing inner surfacesso as not to cause finger pinch.
