Abstract
A method of making a powder coating composition includes obtaining functionalized particles by reacting inorganic particles with alkoxysilanes having the general structural formula (I) RSi(OR), silane oligomers having the general structural formula (II) (R)(OR)Si—O—[—Si(R)(OR)—O—]—Si(R)(OR)or mixtures thereof.
