Abstract
The loading apparatus () for loading rolls () of fiber based sheet material to an application unit for the production of fiber-reinforced parts comprises a frame () on which a lift () is arranged displaceably in vertical direction and is adapted to carry at least one roll (). The lift () comprises a swivel mechanism () arranged rotatably about a swivel axis () and comprising at least first grippers () adapted to releasably grip shaft ends () of a first roll () and second grippers () adapted to releasably grip shaft ends () of a second roll (). A method of loading rolls is also disclosed.
