Abstract
An indwelling needle is provided which has a simple structure and is capable of securely mounting a needle tip protective tool on the tip portion of an internal needle. The indwelling needle A consists of an external needleincluding a cannulaand a housing, an internal needleincluding a metal needleand a huband a needle tip protective tool. The needle tip protective toolis mounted on the housingwith the metal needleinserted into an inner section so that the metal needlecan be removed together with the internal needlefrom the external needle. A main bodyof the needle tip protective toolhas a cylindrical shape. Window sectionsare provided on opposing circumferential surfaces of the main body. On a rear end marginal section of window section, a movable gripped sectionis provided whose outer sectionextends toward the outside of the main bodyand whose end consists of a grip section.
