Abstract

The present invention relates to a composition comprising EK99P-1, a bacteriophage isolated from nature and capable of infectingtype K99 so as to kill the same, as an active ingredient, and a method for preventing and treatingtype K99 infections using the said composition. According to the present invention, the bacteriophage EK99P-1, an active ingredient of the composition, has a killing activity againsttype K99 and has the genome represented by SEQ. ID. NO: 1.
