The present invention relates to an electroluminescent device () comprising a pair of electroluminescent stacks (), each stack comprising a first electrode layer (), a second electrode layer () and an electroluminescent layer () being located between the first and second electrode layers (--), an electrical connection () between the two stacks (),each of the second electrode layers comprising a conductive plate, the two conductive plates forming a pair of receiver electrodes for capacitive power transfer.
