Abstract

An information processing device () stores information (hereinafter, referred to as communication network information) in advance, which information indicates whether or not a communication network () is compatible with a Fast Dormancy function. Then, the information processing device () reads the communication network information of the communication network () when a packet communication with an information server () is ended, and sets a free procedure of a communication channel based on the communication network information that is read. Then, information processing device () frees the communication channel according to the free procedure that is set.
