Abstract
To provide a method for screening using cultured cells, intended to find a compound which increases the amount of sphingosine-1-phosphate or dihydrosphingosine-1-phosphate by SPL inhibitory activity rapidly, simply and highly sensitively. Provided are: a rapid and simple measurement method employing a scintillation proximity assay (SPA); a method with greatly improved detection sensitivity to the activity of a compound by controlling the concentration of the vitamin Bgroup in a culture medium to be used in assaying; and others.
